Metrorail had people hanging out of the train this morning. Couldn’t help but get a smile on my face. Next week Wednesday or Thursday I should be on the train from Trivandrum to Kollam…

I did get very irritated when I got onto the second full train this morning just to see how much space there still was in the aisles. So I shouted: “People can we move down the aisle?!”  Simply to let the other people on the station in, I was thinking. I just got blank stares: “ Who is this idiot?!”

I am willing to bet that on my way to Kollam people are going to be more considerate and the aisles will be full already or they will just get on top of the train to make space for more people to get in…otherwise think I might just be shouting again…don’t think anyone will hear me though.

So I wonder, is it better to live in a country where I am allowed to raise my voice and do and be who I am but people don’t really listen or live somewhere where there is no point in shouting at all...
